概述

HyperCarrier  is a cationized form of bovine serum albumin (MW: 69kD). Cationized proteins are taken into antigen presenting cells (APC) quicker and more efficiently than normal proteins. The positive charges on the cationized protein give it greater affinity for the negatively charged cell surface of the APCs. The cationized protein is internalized via activated receptor mediated endocytosis as opposed to pinocytosis (Border et al. (1982) J. Clin. Invest. 69:451).The peptides are coupled to carrier proteins with the use of protein cross-linkers, normally through primary amine residues. HyperCarrier? is supplied lyophilized in a 10mg/vial size format.
